This Great Lives volume will help you as you study our Mother's Study Group topic -- Art. As I have done in the other volumes in this series, I kept my eyes open for stories of great artists when they were children and included those stories whenever I could. You'll be inspired by the lives they lived. As one book said, "...when the soul is as full of beautiful things as an overflowing river, some of them are sure to get out where people will see." I think one of my favorite stories in the book is of Michelangelo. It presented a side of him I had never read before. As you read their stories, I'm guessing you're not going to be able to resist looking up their paintings and finding new meaning in them.
